Delivery & Ordering Information

Quilters Quest are the sole distributors for SewEzi in the UK and Ireland. By submitting an Order form you are placing an Order Enquiry, we will reply confirming your order and total price, including delivery. The order can be confirmed by arranging payment through the payment link included in our reply or over the telephone. Please make sure to include the sewing machine make and model(s) if ordering a Portable or Grande table. We also need your full delivery address, including Postcode or Eircode if possible. All prices are inclusive of UK VAT @ 20%; please get in touch if you live in a zero-rated Island for UK VAT purposes and would like a quote or to place an order.

You must tell us the make and model of your sewing machine when ordering a SewEzi Portable or Grande table. In the unlikely event that we do not have an insert available for your sewing machine we will liaise with you and get one produced as quickly as we can. In the very unlikely event that your machine is too big for a SewEzi table, we will refund your order. Some new sewing machines are too wide to fit into the SewEzi tables. If you are unsure about your machine, please contact us with your machine details and we will let you know. We will issue a full refund of any money paid if a SewEzi Grande or Portable Table is ordered but is not suitable for your sewing machine(s).

You may need a Quick-Change Set and an additional insert if you are ordering a table for more than one machine. The Portable table needs the Large Machine Brace for machines weighing more then 13kgs (29lbs). We will include these in your quote if they apply to your order.

Quilters Quest accept payment online or by telephone. We do not collect or store any personal data in relation to credit or debit cards. We use Stripe, Inc. to safely conduct online payment transactions. We accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express through Stripe, Inc.


SewEzi tables: After an order is placed, we will confirm a suitable delivery day with you. For UK mainland and the island of Ireland we use DPD or DHL to deliver SewEzi tables, Monday to Friday only. We will aim to deliver your order anywhere in Ireland and the UK mainland within 5 working days. Delivery to remote locations, off-shore islands and other regions may be subject to a delivery surcharge and may take longer

Delivery is included within UK Mainland and the island of Ireland, however, delivery to off-shore islands and remote regions may be subject to a surcharge. The following areas will incur a delivery surcharge:

SewEzi Accessories may be sent with Royal Mail, DPD or DHL.

We will email tracking details, if available, before the day of delivery.

Delivery dates and times are not guaranteed. During busy periods there can be delays due to the volume of items being sent, please allow an extra day or two for delivery and please check your tracking. For DPD deliveries you must go to for your tracking details to work.

Compensation claims for loss or damage must be made within 7 days to Quilters Quest. Should you need to make a claim please contact us within 7 days of your item(s) delivery date and we will make the claim on your behalf with the courier. Claims after this time cannot be processed. Do not send your claim directly to the courier as it will be refused. Please email pictures of any damage if possible, this includes to the packaging. Approved claims must be accepted by you within 7 days. When a claim has been paid out Quilters Quest is no longer liable for the loss or damage associated with the delivery.

Quilters Quest cannot compensate for additional expenses, purchases or loss of income due to the delay or non-delivery of an item.


You have the right to cancel your order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty and a refund will be offered. You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

  • You need to notify Quilters Quest of your wish to cancel your order within this time period – by email, for example. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return the goods.
  • You must cover the cost for returning unwanted goods. We recommend you get proof of postage to prove that you have returned the goods.
  • While you must pay to return the goods, we will refund the delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place.
  • Your refund for the goods must be paid within 14 calendar days after returning the goods, or evidence that they were returned.
  • A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.
  • The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
  • If the goods are faulty, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

What are your Opening Hours?

We no longer have a shop open to the public. You can place an order enquiry online at anytime day or night. 'Ask A Question' if you have any questions, queries or if you would like us to give you a call.

What Information do I Need to Order a SewEzi table?

When ordering a SewEzi Portable, Grande or Overlocker Table we need to know the machine make and model number. If you're unsure of the model number, we might ask you to email us a picture of your sewing machine to help us work it out. We will also need your contact and delivery details for the courier.

Will my Sewing Machine Fit into a SewEzi table?

The SewEzi Portable can fit most sewing machines, including the Bernina 7 series. There are a few very wide machines that will not fit, this is very rare. Some larger machines, such as the Janome 9400, will only fit in the SewEzi Grande and some wide machines will only fit in the recently launched Grande GL. The GL is a special top, designed for the Grande, that allows very wide machines, for example the Brother Dream Machine, to fit. We have inserts to fit nearly all sewing machines and in the rare circumstance that we don’t have one on file that fits we will make one. We have customers using Singer Feather Weights that are 80 years old through to the new super large Bernina 890.

Can a SewEzi Table be Used with More than one Sewing Machine?

Yes, you can use a SewEzi table with different sewing machines, you may need to purchase additional pre-cut inserts and a Quick-Change Set. The Quick-Change system allows the table to cope with varying height differences in sewing machines. There is a great variation between sewing machines, their height and free arm shapes all vary between brands and also within brands.

Will the Knee Lift on my Sewing Machine work in a SewEzi sewing table?

Yes, you should be able to use the knee lift with the SewEzi table. In some cases, if the knee lift is not adjusted correctly it may move too far to the right and touch the table leg. Some sewing machine knee lifts have an adjustment on the knee lift bar where it goes into the machine and some have the adjustment internally, you will need to ask your sewing machine service person to adjust it for you.

Will my Serger / Overlocker Fit into a SewEzi table?

There are 3 ways SewEzi sewing tables can accommodate a serger / overlocker. Firstly, you can place the serger / overlocker into the cut out in the top of the Portable or Grande table (just like a normal sewing machine); most older model serger / overlockers will fit however some of the newer models are just too large for this method. Secondly, purchase a SewEzi Solid Insert to fill the cut out in the top of the table. Once this gap is covered over a serger / overlocker can sit on top. Thirdly, the SewEzi Overlocker Table has been specifically designed to fit all overlockers / sergers / flat-lockers. With this table you can have your Overlocker in its own designated table, freeing up your SewEzi Portable or Grande for your regular sewing machines!

Can a SewEzi Grande be taken to Classes and Retreats?

Yes, the SewEzi Grande's size and weight mean it is not as easy to move around as the Portable, but it can still be folded up and relocated. The recently launched accessory ‘SewEzi Grande Mobile’ allows you to put this table on wheels and make your Grande portable!

Can I move my SewEzi Table with the sewing machine in it?

We do not recommend moving your SewEzi table with the sewing machine in it. Always remove the machine before moving the table. Moving the table with the machine in it risks damaging both the table and the sewing machine.

The Leg Hinges on my SewEzi Table are too Tight, how can I fix this?

If the hinges are too tight, do not try and force them by pulling hard on the leg as this can damage the connection to the top. Use a silicon spray or other lubricant on the folding part of the hinge and operate the hinge by straightening it out in the centre. Sometimes new hinges are tight, but they will free up after several openings.

Why does my Insert Not Fit my Sewing Machine?

The most common reason that an insert does not fit is because the attachment on the free arm has not been removed. The SewEzi acrylic inserts are designed to fit the free arm once any extensions, attachments, accessory boxes have been removed. Check to see if parts of the free arm pull off, usually they slide out or click off. Please get in touch if this does not solve the problem.

My Sewing Machine Sits too High or too Low, how do I adjust it?

You can adjust the height of your sewing machine in relation to the acrylic insert by adding or removing the plastic spacers. This is achieved by adding or removing the little plastic spacers (discs) threaded onto the white posts that attach the sewing machine platform. There are 3mm spacers and 1.5mm spacers for fine tuning the height. If your machine is sitting above the insert you will need to drop the shelf by adding spacers; if your machine is below the insert then the shelf needs to be raised by removing spacers.

Why does the Number on my Acrylic Insert not Match the Model Number on my Sewing Machine?

The four-digit number on the acrylic sewing machine insert is a SewEzi code and does not relate to the make and model of your sewing machine.

When will I Receive my Order?

We will aim to deliver your order anywhere in Ireland within 3 working days and UK mainland within 5 working days. Delivery to remote locations, off-shore islands and other regions will be subject to a delivery surcharge and may take an extra 1 – 2 working days. SewEzi Accessories may be sent with Royal Mail, My Hermes, DHL or DPD. We will email tracking details, if available, before the day of delivery.
