The SewEzi Solid Insert transforms your Portable or Grande sewing table into a completely smooth, flat surface — opening up a whole range of uses beyond sewing. Made from the same MDF material as the table itself, it sits flush in the machine cutout, giving you a seamless, stable work surface.

What Can You Use It For?

The Solid Insert is one of the most versatile accessories in the SewEzi range. With it in place your table becomes:

A rotary cutting surface — lay your cutting mat directly on top for accurate fabric cutting if you prefer to sit while you work.

A pattern marking and layout surface — spread out your fabric or pattern pieces across the full table area with nothing in the way.

A home office desk — the smooth, stable surface is perfect for a laptop, keyboard, and video calls. Many customers use their SewEzi Portable as their everyday work desk during the day, then swap in their machine insert when they're ready to sew.

A stable surface for embroidery units — if your machine has an embroidery unit attached, the Solid Insert covers the cutout and creates a flat, supported surface around the unit, preventing it from tipping or flexing during embroidery.

The Solid Insert is available in two versions — one for the SewEzi Portable and one for the SewEzi Grande. Please make sure you select the correct version for your table when ordering, as they are different sizes and are not interchangeable.
